Japan isn't a country I'd normally consider visiting, because of its long ride from the airport to the city, the expensive prices and the difficulty of communication for a non-native speaker. Yet time and time again I took the plunge to visit friends as well as hoping to catch some of the ancient and modern aspects of its culture.
